Subject matter: Extension of time to file a response.
The Applicant, Attorney General of the Republic of Rwanda seek for Court order extending time to file response to Reference No. 15 of 2021 on the following grounds.
That, the Applicant was supposed to file his response to the Reference on 26th June 2021 having being served on 12th May 2021 but failed because of illness and was put in isolation. When released, they were put on lock down hence could not access the office to prepare the response.
That, from the foregoing and in the interest of justice, it has become necessary for the Applicant to seek leave to extent time for filing the response. No prejudice will be occasioned to the Respondent and the Application has been introduced in good faith.
