REFERENCE NO. 13 OF 2023 GEOFFREY KAZINDA V. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA

The Applicant alleges that the Respondent’s State through the actions of the ruling of Her Worship Lamunu Pamela Ocaya, Deputy Registrar of the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court in Miscellaneous Application No. ACD-00-EXD-EMA 01 of 2021 unlawfully entertaining execution proceedings and issuing confiscations orders are infringements on Articles 6(d) and 7(2) of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community and also infringe on the Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Community Common Market.
