REFERENCE NO. 18 OF 2021 RUTA FERDINAND v. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF UGANDA

The Applicant alleges that the Respondents acts of unlawfully and brutally arresting him and detaining him at Kampala  Central Station before the military brutally abducted him at night from police custody and detained him incommunicado at Makindye Military  Police Barracks and on 30 March , 2021;  blocking of the Applicant’s lawyers from accessing him and legally representing him as appeared before the incompetent UDC at Makindye Military Barracks infringe Articles 6(d), 7(2), 8(1) (a) & (c) of the Treaty.
