The Applicant alleges that the Respondent’s action and process of issuing and signing a press statement dated 16th September, 2020 addressed to “All media Houses” titled Misuse of the EAC emblem by a litigant in a matter before East African Court of Justice without affording the Applicant the right to be heard or ascertaining whether indeed such purported advert exists and if ti exists whether it can actually be attributed to the applicant are unlawful and infringe on the operational and operational principles of the Community under the Treaty.
