REFERENCE NO. 35 OF 2022 BISHOP JAMBO MULLA & 4 OTHERS v. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN

The Applicants allege that the decision of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Republic of South Sudan to issue evictions orders against Nakkasongola church, that has been in occupation and possession Land for a period over 40 years and failure to issue land title to the church violates the rights to own property and religious rights in the Republic of South Sudan therefore violating Articles 6(d) and 7(2) of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.
